“ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY TO HELP OUR VETERANS”

 

Congratulations, Ladies, on working so hard this past year to make the Calendar Program work. It was something new and different. We want to say a hearty thanks to each and every person that purchased a Lotto calendar to help the Ways & Means Program. It takes money to run a Department of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars and this money helps to pay for such things as the printing of program development books, rosters, and so many other things. So once again, thank you.

Now, guess what? We are going to do it once more. THE “ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY TO HELP OUR VETERANS” Team will go forth with calendars and make this year more successful than the 2010- 2011 Auxiliary Year. By doing this, we help our Department Chairmen, District Presidents and Department Officers. We know that times are still difficult and money is tight. That is why we so appreciate all efforts put forth on this program.

There will be two Awards this year. $75.00 to the District that sells the most calendars by September 1, 2011 and $25.00 the second place District that sells the most and this is to be verified by me and the Department Treasurer. Send the number of calendars sold to me and I will check my records and then forward it to the Department Treasurer for verification.

We've increased the prize money and you now have the opportunity to win a part of the $7500.00 being awarded to the winning numbers. There will be 312 days that will have winning numbers. Buy a calendar and be a part of our Ways & Means for 2011-2012.
