Patriotic Instructors, you have been selected to fill this important office in your Auxiliary. You should teach all new members the rituals of the Auxiliary. Instruct new members how to salute, stand at attention, parade rest, and the raps of the gavel. It will help them to feel a part of the Auxiliary. A Patriotic Instructor can and should speak during the Good of the Order of each meeting.

 Make sure to work with the VFW Americanism Chairman and the VFW members to promote Patriotism and to observe all the Patriotic Holidays.

 Teach Flag etiquette to all citizens; stress the importance of showing respect to the American Flag at all times, and the proper way to display, take down and fold the Flag.

Keep a record of all the activities you participate in throughout the year with pictures, newspaper clippings, copies of checks, etc...
